Again, the troubled Logo government area of Benue State was attacked by herdsmen in the early hours of Saturday, leading to the death of 11 persons.
The fresh attack is coming barely six days after Fulani herdsmen attacked five communities in Guma and Logo local government areas of the state in which over 20 persons were murdered.

The latest incident, according to a source, happened at Tombo village in Logo local government area of the state.
An eyewitness told our correspondent that the attackers came to Ukemberagga/Tsewarves, Tse Toradi, all in Tombo community in Mbagber ward of Gaambe-Tiev of the council area.
Another source claimed that the attackers launched the attack at about 11pm on Friday and lasted till 5am of Saturday.
Though State Police Command spokesman, ASP Moses Yamu, said only four persons were killed, the ugly incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday when the villagers were asleep.
It was gathered that the herdsmen invaded the village, destroyed houses and shot indiscriminately.
The Chief Press Secretary to the state governor, Mr Terver Akase, equally confirmed the report.
