The long arm of the law has caught up with a leading member of a cult group, Eiye Confraternity, in Ogun State, South-west Nigeria.
The 19-year old suspect, Daniel Bartholomew, was said to have been on the wanted list of the Ogun State Police Command for his ignominious cultist activities, that had held Agbara and its environs in the jugular for a little while.
According to a press statement by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi, Daniel had been in the forefront of series of cult clashes in places like Agbara, Lusada and Igbesa, all in Ado-Odo/Otta Local Government Council area of the state,
The police image maker added that his nefarious activities had often held the affected communities spell bound, leaving the residents in pains and anguish.
Luck, however, ran out on him last week during a police stop-and-search operation mounted opposite Crawford University gate at Lusada.

The suspect, who was said to be on a motorcycle, quickly made a detour after sighting the operatives, whose crime fighting spirit was ever high.
He could not go far before the process of hot chase on him yielded results.
However, for whom he is and what he does, one locally-made pistol and an expended cartridge were recovered from him.
The statement revealed that he has made a confessional statement to the effect that he is a leading member of the dreaded Eye Confraternity.
Meanwhile, the state Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu, in a telephone chat with our reporter over the arrest, reiterated what now looks like his slogan that, "the state had no breeding space for criminals to hibernate", adding that they might hide for some time, "they will definitely run into our dragnet".
The CP has, however, ordered that the suspect be transferred to the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) for discreet investigation. LR News
