SONG THEFT ALLEGATIONS: Blackface rebukes Faze for daring to call for peace with 2face (Video)
Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo better known by his stage name Blackface has taken a swipe at his former band mate, Faze for daring to wade into the lingering song theft allegations he (Blackface) leveled against 2face Idibia.

The co-founding member of the now defunct Plantashun Boyz group he formed in the year 2000 with 2face, in an interview with Hip TV said, Faze (also a former member of the group) does not understand what it means for someone’s song to be stolen.

The ragga and reggae singer and songwriter who co-wrote “African Queen” with 2face, a song made famous by the latter also rebuked Faze’s call for peace between the two acts who have both come a long way.

Recall two months ago, that hours after it became news that lawyers of 2face wrote a letter to Blackface demanding an unreserved apology over defamatory remarks made against him (2face) and his manager, Blackface called the bluff of 2face and his counsel when he vowed never to apologise.

Blackface said in an interview with a popular Nigerian blog that 2face and his manager can go to hell as a Rasta man does not apologise to anybody.

In January last year, Blackface also accused Wizkid of trying to bring him down and suggesting that Wizkid’s hit song, titled Ojuelegba, sounds the same as the track 13 on one of his dancehall albums released as far back as 2010.

Days after calling out Wizkid, Blackface came for 2face again accusing him of stealing his song, titled ‘Let Somebody Love You’ which features American singer Bridget Kelly.
