A syndicate which specialized in hacking into bank accounts of bank customers using cloned identity cards and bank details of unsuspecting victims has been arrested by operatives of the Oyo state Command's Special Anti-Robbery Squad following a tip off received at about 1600hrs of 5/7/2017. Intensive, discreet investigation carried out by the police led to the arrest of the syndicate kingpin in his criminal hideout in Sango, Ibadan. His arrest later led to the arrest of two other members of the notorious syndicates in Lagos. All the suspects confessed to have stolen millions of naira from victims by hacking into their bank accounts using fake documents.

The suspects are
I. Olanrewaju Olamiju 'm' aged 45
ii. Aileru Tokunbo 'm' aged 35
iii. Seun Adenuga 'm' aged 33
